East Sussex law firm Hughes Solicitors is celebrating after passing the Lexcel quality assurance accreditation with flying colours.
Lexcel is a specialist quality assurance accreditation for law firms and it is only awarded to those who can satisfy the requirements of The Law Society in implementing the highest standard of internal management and client care.

In order to attain Lexcel, a firm needs to undergo rigorous independent assessment every year to ensure it continues to meet the required standards of excellence. It requires robust internal practices and procedures to develop, encourage and support employees whilst delivering a very high standard of legal services.
This year’s assessment remarked, “Very positive client feedback results show that customer service is a high priority for the firm” and “The robust systems the firm has in place, particularly for supervision and support for staff, have ensured that they have been able to continue to offer a high level of service throughout the pandemic.”
