Our office in Heathfield, East Sussex is going to be closed on Monday 19 July 2021, or as some people are calling it, ‘Freedom Day’.
“In anticipation of the Covid-19 restrictions lifting, we wanted to give our staff a reward for their tireless efforts and hard work over the past year, so we will be closing the office and giving them a well-deserved day off,” said Hilary Hughes, managing partner.
From the increase in demand for wills to the stampede of people trying to buy their homes before the stamp duty deadline, it has been a busy 15 months. Despite the unforeseen challenges they faced, the private client and residential property teams pulled together to continue delivering the high quality, professional and personal service which Hughes Solicitors prides itself on offering.
“We are so proud of the entire team who have worked hard to ensure our clients’ needs are looked after,” says Hilary. “After overcoming such challenging circumstances, we hope they all take this day to relax, have fun and enjoy spending it however they wish.”
The office will reopen at 8.45am on Tuesday 20 July 2021 and will resume normal opening hours. Documents may continue to be posted through our post-box. In the event of an emergency that cannot wait until our re-opening please telephone 07496 868367 stating the nature of the emergency.
