Leanna Byrne

Leanna is a solicitor in the residential property team, and she deals with the purchase and sale of freehold and leasehold property, remortgaging and transfers of equity.

She has worked on some key cases during her time at Hughes Solicitors, including:

• acting for a local charitable organisation to successfully complete a number of lease surrenders and re-grants, resulting in the charity becoming a regular client of the firm;
• successfully completing the sale of a former matrimonial home after a divorce;
• acting for a client in the purchase of a new build property and showing perseverance and efficiency in meeting the tight deadlines set by the developer.

Leanna is a friendly and approachable solicitor. She aims to keep clients and all parties updated at all times, so everyone is kept updated and transactions proceed smoothly. Leanna genuinely cares about her clients and is excellent at solving problems to get matters through to a successful conclusion as quickly as possible.

Leanna is a member of the Sussex Law Society.

When not working, Leanna is spending time with her family. With three young daughters and two dogs, it is a busy household. Leanna enjoys going on family days out, dog walks, baking, swimming and cosy movie nights in with her family.

Qualifications

Leanna qualified as a solicitor in 2012, achieving her law degree at the University of Southampton. She joined Hughes Solicitors in 2012 then took a short career break in 2019 to look after her young children, returning to the firm in 2022.
