Hughes Solicitors is delighted to be sponsoring a concert at Mayfield Festival of Music and the Arts, taking place from Saturday 23 April 2022 to Sunday 8 May 2022.
The concert will be a tribute to Jacques Loussier, lead of the French jazz piano music group, Jacques Louissier Trio. After releasing an album called Play Bach, their blending of classical music and jazz led to a new musical genre called Third Stream and they had huge success.
Jacques Loussier sadly died in March 2019. This homage by Dominic Alldis Trio will commemorate his contribution to music and remember Jacques Loussier performing at the 1998 and 2000 Mayfield Music Festivals.

The Mayfield Festival of Music and the Arts is an English arts festival which started in 1970 and is primarily devoted to classical music.
Dee Benians is a trustee of Friends of Music in Mayfield, a charity which provides funds for the encouragement and continuance of music in the local area. She says;
‘It is our pleasure to sponsor the tribute concert to Jacques Loussier and we are looking forward to attending the festival again.’
