Hughes Solicitors were delighted to be a sponsor of the Heathfield Agricultural Show recently. In addition to our usual sponsorship of one of the Pig Classes, the partners and staff operated a trade stand for the day which drew lots of our valued existing clients and visitors throughout the day.
The architectural plans for the former Natwest Bank Building were on display for visitors to view and to tie in with the firm’s recent purchase of the old bank building, a raffle was held for our Hughes Solicitors ‘Money Tree’ (a flowering Cherry Tree decorated with scratch cards).
Cerrig Parr, partner later presented raffle winner Pippa Wagstaff with her ‘Money Tree’. Good luck Pippa!
Our ‘Name the Judge’ competition drew lots of interest from children and adults alike who were eager to win our splendid giant teddy bear. Antonia Adair from Mayfield correctly chose our bear’s nick name ‘Burger’ (after Lord Neuberger). Staff at Hughes Solicitors were sorry to see Burger leave the office when Antonia came to collect him with her young son a few days later.
